Inviting a Sense of the Sacred

The Sky House is a fortress of moments where you can hide awhile from the onslaughts of noise. The Sky House is not an island escape, but a restful waiting place. From here you might, by some necessity alone for now, experiment in slow delights as sharps unspike. Unlace yourself here, all the while watching the world outside unfurl: shedding, breathing and greening always at its own rhythmic pace. The steps to your Sky House are many. Do not count them. In the logic of dreams they will multiply. In the drag of your weary afternoon, your bleak and gloomy Tuesday, become your steps. The sublime whispers at the edges of solitude. Enact the way towards it by intentional repetition. Make a sacred space in the corner of any ordinary room and practice quiet devotion to what you value most. This might involve traditional prayer worship or a personal ritual. Repeat, wait. Repeat. Wait. Repeat. Repetition of patient invitation is how we climb towards a sublime embracing of sky.
